Subject: Rocks your socks off
From the very beginning all the way through, this is a quality show. Alittle shorter than I'd like, but that alone tells you how good it is. These guys rocked the house at this show, and at the show on the 7th @ the 40 Watt in Athens. The sound on this recording is pretty good, but everything sounds alittle distant. Dazed & Confused is, as always, a high point. I also think that Cross The Line is definitely their strongest original tune. Hopefully, when their album drops, that will be the single.

*edit* Mexico is now called "Reptilian Blues" according to the band, so make the nessicary changes in your text file.

Subject: Great new fresh grooves
Some good raw rock. Great potential. My favorite power trio since the orginal Mule. Mule has been one of my favorite bands for the last 5 years, but I think these guys will quickly jump into my favorite list.

Subject: Does It Get Any Sicker?!?!?
This is probably the best show I have of RHD. I really can't stress enough that this is the best power trio in 20 years, maybe ever. Better than the Mule in their 3rd year of existence and these guys are 10 years younger. I mean what an original version of Yonder Wall. You can't even tell it is the same tune until Daniel sings the lyrics. I had the privilege of seeing them a few days before in Atlanta, my 4th time, and this gig was their best. They do Zeppelin better than Zeppelin did it. Yea, I said it. It smokes. Tinsley Ellis, one of my all-time favorite power blues guitarists was at this show and he said it was the best rock band he had seen in 20 years. That is some serious kind of compliment. Start supporting these guys...they deserve it and so do you. By the way, the discs' sound quality is good too.

Subject: Wow
Wow! I just got my ass rocked off, while unfortunately sitting on it! Granted, I was pretty tired on this Sunday night after hangin' out with G. Love & Special Sauce backstage after the show at The Orange Peel Saturday night & seeing the premier of the Carolina Ghostriders indoor football team Friday night; but you just could not deny the raw energy these guys brought to this small crowd of 30 to 40 people (10 of which might have been actually standing). I have to say this is the most impressive performance I've seen by a band in front of such a lethargic Sunday night crowd. Steel Train opened up & got the crowd's ears perked up to some good music. Then some guy walks onto the makeshift stage with hair resembling that of a young Robert Plant, calmly (for that seemed to be the feeling in the music hall) turns on an effect pedal and howls "Whoooo!!" Some people clap & "Whoo" back & then we're all witness to the coolest version of Look Over Yonder since Hendrix laid it down. No shittin'; & I'm an exemplary Hendrix buff. Next thing I know there are so many jaws on the floor that by the time the song ended they were too busy picking them up to remember to clap. Song after song, I can't remember seeing such a robust performance by a power trio since the Cream farewell concert. I mean, the fierce bass playing, the raw power of a "simple" drum set & the guitar...oh the guitar...let me tell you. Being a Hendrix aficianado, I know power trio. This band exemplifies the definition of this distinction. These 3 guys showcase power in each of their respective divisions: drums, guitar, bass, not to mention the vocals. Awesome. No, awe inspiring. No shit, this is something to not be heard, but be seen, no...witnessed. This is real. This is rock 'n' roll. This is real rock 'n' roll. Holy shit!!! To conclude, I have not seen this type of performance lazily sitting on my lazy ass since I bought the Led Zeppelin live digital video disc release spanning 10 years. These guys are for real...and they have just begun. Be ready y'all, be ready...to let the games begin.
